What are your fishing secrets?

Go to a saltwater pier, beach whatever and buy a cast net. there you have bait then cut the bait up and fish with mustad hooks wich allow you to feel the bites better.

DISCLAIMER if you don't want to buy a cast net you can just use shrimp

If you are fishing for carp or trout you should use corn. also for the hook problem buy a mustad hook which has higher chances of getting the fish that is nibbling, also you must keep moving the bait to keep the fish interested

Keep in mind this is for freshwater
It will vary for saltwater
I guess my main fishing secret is that my dad actually wrote books about the subject! (as duke well knows).

Who hasn't read The Fish, by Sir Edward Studebaker?
Of course we all have!
Instead of fishing net, I drop my cat in the water and it collects fishes in it's mouth for me!
