A Middle Game Rook Sacrifice

Hi. I think this one, despite it has blunders, worth sharing for psychologic factors of the game. While game seems equal in middle game, at move 16 i found no good moves so decided to sacrifice the rook for 3 and then 4 pawns. i think my opponent surprised by this and lost at the end despite the sacrifice was wrong decision and he/she was having a perfect play until that. This made me think, sometimes in the game it may worth to give a try for some unusual moves just to surprise and unbalance the opponent. Psychologiy is really something worth considering in chess.

Yes, a sac is only incorrect if your opponent can prove it's incorrect. Well played.
oh i wrote that wrong. sac was at 25th move.
I think also, after white's move 36 Kh1, there is a good example for perfect bishop position. it does so many things at the same time.
* protecting the backward pawn on c6
* saving f7 pawn for any mating attacks.
* pinning g2 pawn and creating a threat of Qxh3+ which i didnt consider during game because i was focused on passed pawn.
* creating virtual mate threat on g2 if whites bishop ever moves.
* blocking the d line against any rook positioning behind the passed pawn

i think this position is the one of the best positionings for bishop in my games. these lots of threats and things may psychologically creates higher possibility for mistakes or blunders which he/she did. Also time is an issue surely. you spend much more time while there are relatively more possible threats.
