Lot's of making fun here and that's all right.
In New Zealand I saw a good advertising besides the road for secure driving: Don't hurry. You're long enough dead. :-)
I'm seriously confronted with the question and have to decide something, without being secure about the results. Trying to get on the list for a lung transplantation or not. If yes I will die in 10 years, have a 50% being dead in five years, a 8.5% probability of being dead in 4 weeks. In case I'm lucky I get a better lung function for the price of a medical therapy asking for a lot of discipline and having serious side effects.
Not deciding for it means not being able to move around without O2-mask any more with an unknown end and living similar to the CoViD-quarantine as a simple flu can kill me.
This is not a drama, as I had a good life in peace and three really great sons and a good job. My second wife was my best friend before dying of cancer. I managed to survive long enough that my parents have not to experience standing at her sons grave. So tell me, what you do need more! We always have dreams
So my opinion: It's important how to live. I did care for my family and friends. Money is only important as a tool for living for me.
We all have to die and we wouldn't to it if this would really be a bad thing. (Not really a joke.)
