I really think the one cup for the only winner is a bit mean...
I think it would be nicer to have Gold, Silver and Bronze cups for the 1st 3 places.
Just a thought anyway...

I agree as it is very hard to come in first, but it would be encouraging to get recognition to come in top 3. We don't need consolation prizes for every spot but top 3 should get a trophy especially when there are 50+ people in a tournament.
Id say only if we reach a certain number of *active* participants.
I don't even understand the benefits of winning tournaments,
do you get a certain number of points for coming 1st.2nd.3rd?
Also I think there should be proper trophies on profiles for winning certain tournaments.
Maybe we could have medals counted on our profile.
3rd = bronze
2nd = silver
1st = gold
You could “stack” those medals, ie. have more than one of them at once showed on your profile.
