This is the official team page for STLCC and WCHOF staff .

The 2020 Staff Grand Prix Starts Monday 13 July, 2020. The way you gain points is by placing high in Grand Prix events. The points will be the same as the 2019 GCT Tour Points. 1st will get 12 points, 2nd getxs 10, 3rd gets 8, 4th gets 7, 5th gets 6, etc…

First place overall will receive a 1 year Chess.com Platinum Membership and a choice of 1 book from the chess club’s bookstore.

Second place overall will receive 2 books of choice from the chess club’s book store.

Third place overall will receive 1 book of choice from the chess club’s bookstore.

In addition, we will have the “Defeat Ben Simon” Prize. Whoever has the next highest point total above Ben Simon at the end of the event will receive a choice of one book from the chess club’s bookstore.

We assume fair play from all participants. If your account is closed by lichess.org for breaking the Terms of Service, disqualification from the current Grand Prix may result. In the case that an incorrect determination was made by lichess.org, Grand Prix points accrued with the closed account are still valid.
