But I'm just pointing out that your assumptions Russia is retreating cause beaten, or that many of them don't support the war, is constantly proved otherwise unfortunately. We just have to accept this reality at some point. I guess I've now become pessimistic.
Russians have this inflated ego thing going on. Big Country. Big Ego. Better than others. (The same as could be said for the US.)
That's why I crack jokes like:
> Not dog, iz Russian.
> Not russian, iz Dog.
I also like to poke fun at them, just to make the point: They're not NEARLY as special as they think they are. Big Country. Big Russia. Driving conscripts to their death in rust buckets, and abandoning their old rusty military equipment on the side of the road. Sounds like Soviet Russia to me. They were big and special, too ... right up until 1990/1991 when the Big Magical Soviet State crumbled and fell down like the Berlin wall before it ...
I'm not making assumptions. But our intelligence before the invasion started was correct, and I'd bet good money on current intelligence, such that Russia is simply re-grouping for another offensive in the East of Ukraine is also accurate. (Unless Russia has somehow weeded out its mole garden and filled all of the snake holes and is somehow feeding our intelligence community disinformation.)
Every ounce counts. Especially when you're punching above your weight. And Russia thinks its big. So, nasty little comments to help demoralize them and get some of their pawns and pundits and propaganda trolls to come down off their ego horse and see reality ... every little ounce counts. And if I can convince someone on the fence to jump down and grow a backbone and speak-up and speak-out ... my effort counts and matters.
That's why I do what I do.
That's why I make fun of Russia.
That's why I make fun of people who think they're special; even though all they've got to eat is (socialist) Kremlin-branded Propaganda Borscht for 3 meals a day.
Straight-up: Making Fun of Putina, and Russia ... it's good fun for me, and you can't get me to stop.
