5 Centimeters of Hair: Iranian Chess in 2023

The Koran says that you can not cheat, steal and cheat, and many people also try to follow these principles. For several months of my stay in Iran and communication with other travelers, I have not heard about a single case of theft from tourists. I have never been cheated at the bazaar
Very few people are protesting, unless the entire country stands up, the mullahs will win.
If a few protest, then the majority is for the way that is. It's democratic.

1st: there is no such thing as being politically neutral.
2nd: even if such a thing existed, it would definitely not be more in line with Lichess philosophy.

Democracy is being able to vote with freedom and secrecy. You can't assume the opinion of people just because they're not protesting on the streets, that's what voting is for. The reason they are not on the streets could be many, one possibility is that the government is literally threatening people, don't you think? People are disappearing and being killed, it's disgraceful.

Oh, really! It was the "liberation" on the path to democracy that happened in Ukraine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Liberia, Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, Yugoslavia, and almost happened in Syria. Everything is fine there now. The resources are controlled by the United States, no one is interested in what is happening there among the people. Not interested at all.

What you're doing, not by own fault but probably the media you consume, is called "tu quoque" or alternatively "whataboutism", trying to excuse behaviour of person A by pointing out that person B (who is completely unrelated to this topic btw, I despise the US as much as you probably) did something wrong too.

I am absolutely sure that the topic with "open hair", as well as with Bayat in her "Ukraine Dress" is raised for a reason, but in order to kindle a bonfire of war in Iran.
